Off-Site Destruction Service
Déchi-tech Mobile also offers a destruction service for hard drives and various materials. This can include computer equipment such as CDs, floppy disks, VHS tapes, USB keys, as well as fabrics, keys, membership cards, plastic bags, plastic objects, or even work uniforms, printing errors, packaging, or labels. Whenever an "object" may represent a security risk for your business, we are here to help you destroy it!
For digital media shredding, we have equipment designed specifically to shred the disk and render it unusable. Hard drives contain an impressive amount of information, and you must destroy them before sending your computer for recycling.
The destruction of disks and materials is always performed at our Saint-Hyacinthe warehouse. Afterward, we proceed with recycling the materials when possible.
The collection process for digital materials is performed by our personnel. A work order is provided to you to ensure material traceability. Once completed, a certificate of destruction is sent with the invoice. Please note that we can also perform shredding in front of you at our warehouse. However, an appointment is required for this type of service.
