How long should I keep my documents?
It is advisable to retain 7 years of accounting documents. However, ledgers, minute books, and financial statements must be kept for the entire duration of the company's operations. If in doubt, consult your accountant.

Do I need to remove clips, staples, and rubber bands?
Our equipment destroys these items without issue. However, it is best to remove large ring binders and all plastics.

What is not accepted for shredding?
Plastics, ring binders, waste, large hard metals, and sheet protectors are not accepted. Digital media is accepted but must not be mixed with paper.

How much time should be allowed for shredding?
Allow approximately 1 hour for every 100 boxes. The proximity of the boxes allows us to be faster and helps you save on your quote. Inquire now!

What do you do with the shredded paper?
Shredded paper is sent to recycling centers to give this material a second use. These papers are immediately pressed and transported to a de-inking center.

How long does it take to get the service?
Lead times vary from city to city. We always strive to offer you the best possible lead times. Usually, we are able to provide service within 2 weeks. Obviously, the larger the quantity of boxes to be destroyed, the longer the lead time. You can make an appointment by email or phone.

How much does our service cost?
Costs vary depending on the number of archive boxes or the quantity of documents to be destroyed. Your city, the quantity of boxes, the location of the boxes, and their content can all affect the cost. For small quantities, the cost is between $120.00 and $250.00 for the destruction of the first 10 archive boxes (10x12x16 inches). Subsequently, an additional cost per box is applied based on volume.

Do you provide a certificate of destruction?
Yes. Once the work is completed, our team will provide you with a certificate of destruction detailing the quantities of boxes destroyed.

Can we bring boxes to you?
It is possible to make an appointment to drop off boxes for destruction. We now have two addresses: 6850 Raoul-Lassonde Ave, St-Hyacinthe OR 4710 Côte-Vertu Blvd, Ville St-Laurent. What is the size of a standard box?
The standard archive box size is 10 x 12 x 16 inches. This is equivalent to a box of paper purchased at a stationery store.

What are the steps after booking my appointment?
Following your call:
1- We will confirm the shredding costs with you.
2- We will schedule a date for your shredding.
3- A truck will come to your premises to perform the shredding. You must make all boxes accessible on the ground floor BEFORE our arrival.
4- The technician will transport the boxes to the truck, and destruction will take place on-site, in front of you.
5- The technician will provide you with a certificate of destruction.
6- The invoice will be sent to you by email.
7- You can then proceed with payment upon receipt of your invoice. All payment methods are accepted.
